Hey ALL, our 1st Embodied Medicine Retreat in August 2025 surpassed every expectation — a powerful fusion of transformation, laughter, tears, and pure joy. Participants ages 16 to 70 traveled from across the country to share in an experience that truly transcended words & worlds!
Together, we planted a tree, danced with the elements, journeyed through unseen realms, celebrated under the full moon, shared cacao, and created sacred space to honor both truth and tenderness. It was a gathering of healers, dreamers, and lovers of life — each bringing their own unique medicine to the fire.
Building on that beautiful foundation, our next retreat offers even more flow, intention, and integration. From what we learned in year one, we’ve added a mid-retreat rest day — time to play, explore, or simply breathe in nature before diving back into the deep magic. Because transformation deserves space to settle, integrate, and bloom.

- Emotional Embodiment, Breathwork & Energy Healing: Guided experiences designed to help you reconnect with your body’s innate wisdom and unlock the messages it holds. Facilitated by two experienced Registered Nurses with expertise in both traditional and holistic healing, these sessions invite you to slow down, tune in, and cultivate awareness of your sensations, emotions, and energy. Through a blend of movement, breathwork, somatic practices, and intuitive guidance, you’ll learn to release stored emotions and restore balance — fostering resilience, trust, and deep healing.
- Yoga & Sound Baths: Participate in soulful yoga/intuitive movement sessions enhanced by the therapeutic vibrations of sound healing, inviting you to expand and integrate at the cellular level.
- Meditation & Shamanic Journeying: Through guided meditation, breath, sound, and rhythmic drumming, participants are invited to quiet the mind, travel within, and connect with the wisdom of spirit and the natural world. These experiences support grounding, release, and the awakening of intuitive guidance — helping each person receive exactly what their soul is ready for.

Nestled alongside the Animas River, this tranquil sanctuary offers a variety of lodging options — from tiny home cabinas and cozy bungalows, to glamping tents in the Magical Forest. Wake up to the sound of flowing water and wild birds, unwind in a hammock by the river, or gather around the firepit beneath a starlit sky. Reconnect with your inner child through playful adventure: tubing, paddleboarding, water slides, and more. Whether you stay in on-site accommodations, bring your RV, or tent camp, there’s space to unwind and remember your place in the flow of nature.

✨ Please note, complimentary health-conscious snacks will be provided throughout the retreat, but meals are NOT provided. There's an on-site cafe that will be open during designated hours. Restaurants, grocery stores, hotels & air B&B's are located in nearby Aztec, NM & Durango, CO. Participants are responsible for their own meals & transportation to and from Tico Time River Resort. Heated showers & coin-operated laundry are available on-site as well.

- Tiny home w/ queen bunk bed (5 available): features 110V power, air conditioning, and one queen-over-queen bunk bed; the top bunk has a 350 lb limit. It includes one parking space for a vehicle up to 20 feet and a 10x15 foot tent space. This cozy 120 sq ft home is perfect for retreat-goers looking for a unique, hassle-free stay. A credit card is required at check-in for the damage deposit.
- Tiny home w/ single twin bed (3 available): features 110V power, air conditioning, and one single twin bed. It includes one parking space for a vehicle up to 20 feet and a 10x15 foot tent space. This cozy 120 sq ft home is perfect for retreat-goers looking for a unique, hassle-free stay. A credit card is required at check-in for the damage deposit.
- Glamping 16 x 16 bell tent w/ one queen bed (5 available): suitable for 1-2 people: Enjoy the retreat in style! Your Glamping accommodation comes with a fully set up, 16-foot (diameter) luxury white canvas Bell Tent. The tent is equipped with a deluxe rug, a comfortable queen-size bed that is elevated off the ground, all necessary linens, a comforter, 2 pillows, a side table, and a battery-powered lamp. Additionally, there will be 110 Volt electricity for extra lighting and low-power devices. Upon arrival, simply present your ticket, and a shuttle will transport you to The Magical Forest glamp-ground. Please note a credit card is required upon check-in for a damage deposit.

- Backstage bungalow w/ two queen over queen bunk beds + 3 twin triple bunk beds (1 available): Includes a 12’ x 14’ lockable room located behind the concert stage. Includes 2 Queen over Queen Bunk Beds & Bedding, plus 3 Twin Triple Bunk Beds & Bedding. Rooms have electricity, heat & A/C, and 2 shared bathroom/showers in the Backstage Bungalow area. Upon check in a shuttle will take you and your gear to the Bungalows. A credit card is required upon check in for damage deposit.
